I went out with a friend of mine the other day and we were discussing how boys notice girls. Then she proceeded to talked about all the phone numbers she had gotten. With a heavy heart I instantly hated her...but managed a pleasant smile and replied “YEAH I KNOW....me too...I get numbers all the time” (I lied for the greater good of my self-esteem)
So later I went home to David and sat down sadly on the couch, he came over and asked me what was wrong. I looked at him with my lip out and said "I didn't get any phone numbers today!" He smiled the way he always smiles when I say something stupid and replied "Yeah and you didn't get any groceries either"
